The Explorer
Program


Many Chicago Public School students live in emotionally, physically and spiritually dangerous communities. Through art, The Explorer Program provides high school students, particularly freshmen, from urban minority communities, the opportunity to Explore, Be Inspired and Transform their lives.  The Explorer Program, was founded by Julius Givens, who is a St. Louis native and graduate of the University Missouri.

 After graduating from the University of Missouri, Brie started Black Girls with Purpose to outline ways high school and college aged women can pursue purposeful living.
She has served over 500 teens in ministry and designed a workshop style curriculum for young ladies that covers topics such as self-esteem, time management and goal setting.
